Repeat Prescriptions

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak we are asking patients where possible, to use our Online or Email service for ordering their Repeat Prescriptions.


Please allow minimum 48 hours to process a repeat prescription. This time does not include weekends or public holidays.

Furthermore, if you request your prescription very early it will be rejected for safety reasons unless it is for a valid reason (e.g. going on holiday). If this is the case, please put your request in writing to our prescription clerk, who will pass on the request to the GP on your behalf.

How to Order: 

1. Order Online via our website

Easiest way to order is via our website. CLICK HERE to access the order form.

2. Via Email

If you are unable to use patient access or are ordering items on behalf of someone else, please send an email directly to the practices email address: wimbledon.villagesurgery@nhs.net

Please remember to include the following information in your email:
a. Patient’s Full name
b. Date of Birth
c. Medication(s) name(s)
d. Strength of the medication and the dosage.

3. Online Portal

You can now order repeat prescriptions online. If you are not already signed up for our online services you will need to come into the surgery with a photographic ID (e.g. passport) to complete a simple registration.

4. By post

Alternatively, you can request a repeat prescription by handing to us or posting the right-hand side of the prescription to the surgery clearly indicating all the items you require.

Your prescription can then be collected either from us, from your choice of pharmacy or returned through the post providing you enclose a SAE.
